Here you will find the answers to some of our frequently asked questions, which you should find useful to read. 

Simple! Just click on any of the ‘BOOK NOW’ buttons found in multiple places across the site. Select the dates that are shown as available from the booking calendar and fill out the sections. We look forward to welcoming you to Whorlton Pods.

If you need to move your booked dates with us for any reason please get in touch and we will accommodate you the best we can. Please understand if your new dates fall on higher priced availability then we will need to charge you the additional cost.

Should you cancel your stay 4 weeks or more before the booked arrival date:
    – 
 You will receive a full refund less a £10 admin fee.

Should you cancel your stay within 4 weeks of the booked arrival date:

    – Non-refundable. In such cases we advise you to sell your stay to friends/family and we will happily amend the guest details.

Cancellation requests for bookings made via any of our 3rd partner listings (Campsites.co.uk):
    – Will incur a 20% refund deduction of the overall amount paid.

If for any reason we have to cancel your booking (e.g. flooding, power failure) we will refund the full cost of stay that has already been paid.

In the event of no shows, no refunds will be given.

Unfortunately we do not allow dogs or any other pets. We keep our pods in tip top condition, as well as minimising any unwanted noise for other guests that may be staying. This includes ‘well-behaved’ dogs.

We have a two night minimum policy so regrettably we do not accept single night bookings. The time taken to prepare and turn around the hot tubs and pods would not be suitable for a one night stay. You will also need longer than one night to appreciate what our location has to offer!

Your pod will be clean, fresh and available for you to begin your stay with us from 4pm on your arrival day. Check out on your departure day is by 10.30am at the latest. We require the duration in between to turn around the pods and hot tubs so they are completely ready for the next guests due to arrive.

Children are of course welcome and each pod offers a sofa bed ideal for a junior or one or two little ones. However, we do ask that they are supervised during your stay and respect is given towards other guests who are also on site. All hot tub rules and safety regulations must be adhered to at all times, especially where children are concerned.

Each hot tub is completely drained, fully cleaned and then refilled between every set of pod guests. This is to ensure all guests can rest assured knowing the cleanliness and water quality is perfect and ready for their stay.
During your stay we will check your hot tub twice daily (am and pm) to test the chlorine and pH levels.

As we are a husband and wife team who solely run Whorlton Pods we have set check-in days of Monday, Wednesday and Friday offering a variety of stay durations with a minimum of 2 nights. Quite simply this allows us to plan our childcare days and complete laundry and maintenance on the days inbetween!

 

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside of the pods or in the porch areas. The occasional cigarette is allowed on your patio area, but in respect of other guests anything more we insist you walk a short distance to the carparking area.
